LUKE BURRIDGE

Luke Burridge has been working with horses for over fifteen years. Luke says he has been lucky to learn from several great horse men and women across the United States and Europe. Starting in Tucson, Arizona, training horses for a ‘dude’ ranch. Working with over 100 horses in the herd, riding several different types of horse each day which gave him the experience of working with a wide range of horses and helped to understand how to treat each individual horse differently.

After three years in the US, he moved to France and worked with competition horses in a range of disciplines including Barrel Racing, Cattle Penning, Reining and more. In the four years Luke lived in France, his experiences included being the first British rider to compete in the European Cup, in Lyon, France and the European Championships, in Reggio Emilia, Italy.  Returning home to the UK in 2013 Luke formed UKBHA (United Kingdom Barrel Horse Association) and teaches his skills all over the UK.
